Pearl Golf Links - West Course
At 7,006 yards from the back Black tees, the West Course at is the longer and more challenging course at The Pearl Golf Links, as shown by its Rating of 73.3 and Slope of 133. The course plays to a par of 72, but has an interesting combination of five par threes, eight par fours and five par fives, as opposed to the more traditional 4-10-4 arrangement. This allows for even more variety of challenges presented by the course. For instance, its par threes range in yardage from the 147-yard 13th to the stout, 215-yard eighth.
The West Course has received a four-and-a-half star rating on Golf Digest’s “Places to Play” course ranking list. The last four holes form a picturesque finish along the gorgeous Calabash River and surrounding marshland. Course conditions are always optimal, highlighted by the West Course’s A1/A4 bentgrass putting surfaces, which are large and undulating.
The Pearl Golf Links boasts many amenities that complement its two golf courses. A practice facility with a grass-tee driving range and a large practice putting/chipping green are adjacent to the clubhouse, which features a fully-stocked pro shop as well as the Pearl Restaurant & Bar, ideal for a pre- or post-round snack or drink
